Submission Terms and Conditions

  1. You must be the photographer and copyright owner of every submitted image, or have the legal authority to submit it.
  2. Contest entries are governed by the specific rules, eligibility requirements, deadlines, judging criteria, and terms displayed on the applicable contest page.
  3. Photo of the Day and TPA Magazine submissions provide priority editorial consideration only. Payment with credits does not guarantee selection, publication, an award, placement, or any other result.
  4. Credits are deducted for each Photo of the Day or Magazine submission. Once a submission has been completed, the credits are non-refundable, including when the photo is not selected.
  5. All submissions are reviewed at TPA’s sole editorial discretion. TPA may reject or remove images that do not meet its quality, eligibility, technical, ethical, copyright, or content standards.
  6. You retain copyright ownership of your photography. If selected, you grant TPA permission to display, reproduce, crop, resize, and publish the image in connection with the selected feature, TPA Magazine, TPA websites, and related promotion, with photographer credit whenever reasonably possible.
  7. Magazine issue, placement, image size, layout, captions, and publication schedule are determined by the TPA editorial team and may change before publication.
  8. Submission does not create an employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, or obligation for TPA to compensate the photographer unless separate written prize or payment terms apply.
  9. By completing a submission, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and all applicable TPA platform and contest rules.
