8. Coming Soon: Hohem EyePic — 2-in-1 Pocket Gimbal Camera
One of the most interesting developments from Hohem isn't another accessory for your existing camera or smartphone. It's a camera of its own.
Previewed at IFA 2026 in Berlin, the new Hohem EyePic is a 2-in-1 pocket gimbal camera that combines a three-axis stabilized handheld camera with a detachable camera module. Keep the camera attached when you want smooth gimbal footage, or remove it and use the compact camera independently for wearable and hands-free perspectives.
The detachable camera can be used with accessories such as a hat clip or lanyard and can also attach to suitable magnetic surfaces. The camera module itself is designed to be waterproof to 10 meters (32.8 ft), opening the system to travel, outdoor activities, water, cycling, POV footage, and other situations where carrying the complete gimbal wouldn't be practical.
EyePic can record native vertical 4K video at up to 60 fps. Instead of simply cropping a horizontal recording for social media, the camera physically changes orientation when switching between landscape and portrait capture. A 2.51-inch rotating touchscreen is built into the handle.
When the camera is detached, the handle can provide a 1080p live preview from up to approximately 10 meters away, making it possible to frame and monitor shots while the small camera is positioned somewhere completely different.
Hohem expects to bring the EyePic to market in Q1 2027. Final specifications, configurations, pricing, and exact availability are still to be confirmed.

Which Hohem Product Is Right for You?
Hohem's range now covers very different kinds of creators. If you primarily shoot with a smartphone and want something small for travel, the X3 SE is an easy place to start. The V3 adds useful tools for solo creators, while the V3 Ultra takes remote operation and AI-assisted filming further.
