From bursts of laughter to hushed moments of wonder, this year’s Kids Portraits contest drew 3,373 entries that showed childhood in all its dazzling variety. After careful jury deliberation, three portraits rose to the very top. Meet the artists behind them—and see why their work captured our hearts.

🥇 1st Place – “Reflection” by Alina Naidonova
Alina’s winning portrait feels like a gentle whisper. Soft, painterly light skims across a child’s face, mirrored in a glassy surface that suggests an inner dialogue only kids can have with themselves. The quiet power of that gaze turns a fleeting moment into something timeless, securing first place.

🥈 2nd Place – “Childhood Smile” by Muhammad Saidul Islam
Muhammad freezes pure joy at its peak: wide eyes sparkling, a grin that practically leaps off the frame, and luminous highlights that make the whole scene feel sun-kissed and eternal. It’s a reminder that the simplest gestures often carry the greatest emotional weight—worthy of the silver.

🥉 3rd Place – “Portrait of Arina” by Anastasiia Golubeva
Anastasiia pairs studio finesse with heartfelt connection. Subtle rim-light carves out Arina’s profile, while a delicate catch-light in the eyes anchors the viewer to her thoughtful expression. Technical precision and authentic emotion blend seamlessly, earning the bronze.
