About Todd Chonody
Todd Chonody is an American photographer who has been living and working in north Texas for the past 35 years. Todd grew up in Indiana and spent much of his time outdoors hiking, camping, and playing pond hockey during the long winter months. His journey in the arts and love for photography began with an art project in elementary school where he built and used a pinhole camera and then later developed and processed photos in the school darkroom. These first creations are still part of his photo collection as a reminder of those early experiments, and the transformation from film to digital photography was seamless and easy. While in college, Todd attended two advanced photography classes where he developed and honed his skill with the camera, digital darkroom, and print workflow for landscape and wildlife photographs. Todd still enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful national parks of North America and other exotic locations, which is a wonderful source of inspiration and fresh perspective in creating unique photographs.
