Hi, I'm Muhammed Diler from Aydın Turkey
My name is Muhammed Diler. I work in the fields of cultural heritage, archaeology, and conservation–restoration. My professional background allows me to approach space not merely as a physical structure, but as a layered entity shaped by time, labor, and memory. This perspective strongly influences my photographic practice.
In my photography, I focus on the relationship between people, space, and everyday life. Historical sites, streets, and seemingly ordinary moments serve as powerful narrative fields for me. I prioritize light, texture, and composition, aiming to construct visual stories without disrupting the natural silence of the scene. While my approach is primarily documentary, I also leave room for aesthetic and abstract interpretations.
I see photography not only as a tool for image-making, but as a form of witnessing and recording. Rather than producing images for rapid consumption, my goal is to create visual narratives that invite the viewer to slow down, observe, and reflect.
