Giuseppe Lanotte

about me
Profile: Giuseppe Lanotte

Hi, I'm Giuseppe Lanotte from Brindisi Italy

As a humanist photographer, I dedicate myself to the visual narration of the human being in his daily life, in his emotions, in his relationship with the environment and with others.

My passion for photography was born when I was very young, but it was consolidated through a heterogeneous path, which includes studies in Law and work experience in the commercial sector. Choices that have enriched me, but that have never been able to stifle the authentic call to the image as a form of story.

I started my professional career collaborating with the Marine Protected Area of Torre Guaceto, an experience that marked the beginning of a continuous commitment to environmental documentation, also leading me to work with Greenpeace. At the same time, I developed a training activity as a tutor and teacher in workshops and photographic trips in Italy and abroad.

In 2023, a photographic trip to Cuba represented a decisive turning point. There I fully understood my vocation for documentary and humanistic photography, centered on respect for people, cultures and stories that deserve to be told.

Today, through my photography, I try to return an authentic and conscious look at the world, moving between reportage, training and personal projects with an attentive, empathetic and coherent look.
