Hi, I'm Elena Clamen from Somerville MA United States

I have always had a passion for photography. I capture vibrant color, texture, emotion, and vitality in everyday items; a child's hand reaching into a bowl of crayons, a bowl of soup, teddy bears and dolls nestled on piles of old books, a glass globe filled with brilliantly colored gumballs, a bottomless jar of my grandmother's old buttons. My photos elicit memories and capture the innocence and comfort of childhood and everyday life. I also enjoy photographing Somerville, MA scenes, moments in nature, as well as children and families.

In addition to my love of photography, I am a licensed mental health counselor and expressive arts therapist in private practice. I love to integrate art and photography into my therapeutic work with clients.
