Hi, I'm Jota Junior from Vitoria Brazil

I'm Jota, a Brazilian visual artist and photographer based in Vitória. My work seeks the poetry hidden in everyday moments - I dream with stories between strangers, constructing feeling and meaning from fleeting encounters.
For years, I dedicated myself to social impact entrepreneurship, leaving photography on the margins. Only recently have I reclaimed this practice, understanding that my lens is as much a tool for social transformation as any business model.
My approach is characterized by radical honesty and resistance to aesthetic polish. I refuse sanitized narratives in favor of vulnerable, unfiltered observations about cultural transition, presence, and the ways people navigate inherited structures while building new ones.
As a Black Latin American artist working outside traditional institutions, I seek spaces for genuine exchange and learning through @cadeojota.
