Hi, I'm Amanda Braide from Dublin Ireland
I am a Brazilian dance artist and photographer based in Ireland. My background is in classical ballet, having trained extensively in Brazil. My journey in photography began in 2007, when I started capturing dance in the studio during the breaks and intervals of ballet classes and rehearsals. In 2012, I created my project Pointe Shots, which became an important milestone in my development as a dance photographer. Since then, I have continued to study, experiment, and evolve my practice. I am passionate about photographing people, with a particular focus on dance photography. I am always open to exploring new ideas and approaches within my work, using photography as a way to connect movement, expression, and identity. Since moving to Dublin, I have trained with the Dublin Youth Dance Company, where I continue to develop my skills in contemporary dance and expand my artistic perspective.
