About Spyros Pantazis
Spyros Pantazis (b. 1984) is a film director, photographer, and graphic designer. He studied Graphic Design and Animation at the Department of Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies of the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Athens and holds an M.A. in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts.
He works across film directing, film production, photography, and visual communication. In 2017, he founded his own production company, through which he directs commercials and produces commercial videos and photography.
He has extensive teaching experience in directing, having taught in educational programs and workshops at both higher and post-secondary education levels, with a focus on multimedia, audiovisual storytelling, and digital media.
He has also worked as a video artist and animator for theatre productions, creating large-scale digital scenography using video projections and animation.
In parallel, he has directed numerous short fiction and documentary films, while his work spans cinema, advertising, photography, and audiovisual productions.
His artistic work has been presented at film festivals, showcases, and tribute programs in Greece and abroad, receiving awards and distinctions for both his filmmaking and photography.
