About Kyriaki Lykouresi
Kyriaki Lykouresi is a visual artist and photographer based in Athens, Greece. Her practice explores the relationship between the body, place, memory and states of transition, often moving between staged photography, observation and constructed imagery. She is particularly interested in liminal spaces, vulnerability, absence and the traces left by human presence. Her work combines a restrained visual language with an interest in materiality, repetition and the subtle tension between the familiar and the uncanny.
