Hi, I'm GWENN SCOTT from Bretagne France
Originally from Brittany, I lived in the Pyrenees for about twenty years. It was there that I truly discovered the art of photography, to which I have devoted myself entirely for the past few years. After receiving several accolades, I began to gain confidence in my ability to reach people through my photos and I recently turned professional.
I never imagined I would one day pursue photography, an art form absent from my family's culture. Yet, even today, I have vivid memories of certain black and white photos I stumbled upon by chance in my youth.
Like an echo of the images in my memories, black and white quickly became my preferred medium. Then, as I refined my sensitivity and was inspired by photographers I admire, such as Michael Kenna, Sebastião Salgado, Patrick Ems, and many others, I now also work with the long exposure technique, which allows me to produce very refined images.
From my childhood playground to a place of resource today, nature is my main source of inspiration. Beyond contemplation, the art of photography is for me a path to tranquility and peace. It's as if capturing the soothing essence of a landscape could soothe my own inner landscape, and I hope yours...
