Born in Poland, Ella Kowalska settled in France after living in the United States. There she trained as an art historian and a jurist. Holding both a Master's degree in Heritage History from the Sorbonne and a Master's degree in Law from Paris-Sud University, she has never ceased to work across disciplines and boundaries, convinced that improbable mixes are the most fruitful.
