Hi, I'm Cristina Stendardo from Lecce Italy

My name is Cristina Stendardo, I am an Italian photographer currently living in Lecce, Salento. My work is inspired by Renaissance, South Italian Barocco and Flemish figurative art from the XVII century. After 20 years of exploring analogue photography, I am now using a digital Sony Alpha 6000 together with an iPhone 12 Pro. My last project is called Wunderkammer and shows both portraits and a series of still lifes depicting fruits, flowers and various objects such as plumes, stones or shells which become a symbol in the esoteric world. The people portraited in my photos are set as figures of the tarots cards or historical characters as my intent is to give back to humans an allure of noblesse and grace gone lost in the era we are living today.
