Hi, I'm Corina Dickson from Newtownards United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Corina Dickson is a Romanian-born creative based in Northern Ireland, where she has lived for over 30 years. Though trained in civil engineering and currently running a swimwear business, her deepest passion lies in photography. Entirely self-taught and working as an amateur, Corina uses photography as a way of observing the world with sensitivity, curiosity, and emotional presence.
Her work is especially rooted in a love of animals and the natural world. She is drawn to capturing close-up portraits of animals, focusing on expressive faces, quiet gestures, and subtle behaviours that reveal emotion and individuality. These intimate moments reflect her deep respect for wildlife and her desire to show their beauty and vulnerability in a personal, almost human light.
Corina is equally inspired by flowers, landscapes, and nature’s fleeting details—textures, colours, light, and shadow. Whether in a forest or a quiet garden, she seeks out the still, often overlooked moments that stir emotion and spark wonder.
Travel has been a defining influence, with journeys through many countries, which offered new perspectives and endless inspiration. Her photography isn’t driven by ambition, but by a personal calling to pause, see, and connect.
For Corina, the camera is a companion in a lifelong exploration of beauty, feeling, the delicate threads that connect all living things. Photography, is a deep personal pursuit, rooted in curiosity, emotion, and a quiet love for textures and rhythms.
