Introduction
Badsha Chowdhury, a professional mariner by trade, carries within him the heart of an artist and a photographer. Born in the village of Shimulkandi in Bhairab Upazila of Kishoreganj, his childhood was filled with a deep love for nature and a passion for creativity.

Childhood and Hobbies
From an early age, Badsha had many hobbies—drawing, singing, dancing, traveling, and playing sports. Though he didn’t know what photography was back then, he used to take pictures of his village with a mobile phone and draw them. His artwork was appreciated by many, which inspired him to keep going.

Introduction to Photography
In 2014, one of his uncles helped him open a Facebook account. There, he began sharing his drawings and gradually gained appreciation. One day, he joined a photography group where people shared mobile photography. When he posted one of his pictures, a member pointed out some mistakes. Instead of getting discouraged, he learned from the feedback.

Eventually, one of his photos was selected as “Photo of the Week.” This honor inspired him so much that he began to take photography more seriously.

Beginning the Photography Journey
In 2015, Badsha began his photography journey using a Symphony mobile phone. He often borrowed phones from friends to take pictures. Though some friends got annoyed, he never gave up. In 2016, his brother gifted him a Samsung Galaxy A3, which significantly improved his photography experience.

Awards and Recognition
Badsha’s photographs have gained recognition both in Bangladesh and abroad. One of his proudest achievements was winning first prize in a photography contest in India. He has also been awarded by various photography organizations in Bangladesh.

Future Plans
In 2022, Badsha met Sabbir Ahmed Khan, who mentored and guided him in photography. Without ever taking a formal course, Badsha became a skilled and talented photographer. His dream is to one day become one of the best photographers in the country.
