About Abhay Patel
I’m Abhay Patel, a documentary street photographer based in Scotland, originally from India. For the past four years, I’ve been capturing raw, unfiltered moments that reflect real human stories and everyday life.My work has been featured in The Year Time Stopped: The Global Pandemic, published by HarperCollins, and also through the University of Edinburgh. I’m also a winner of an international photography competition by the International Centre on Ageing (CENIE).Through my photography, I aim to document honest moments that connect people, cultures, and time.In terms of gear, I use a Fujifilm X-T5 and enjoy working with flash in street photography, usually pairing it with a Godox TT350.
