Every child has a personality all their own — curious, playful, thoughtful, fearless, shy, expressive, and wonderfully unpredictable.
In Young Faces: Kids Portrait Photography Contest, we invite photographers to capture the character, emotion, and individuality of childhood through the art of portrait photography.
From babies and toddlers to older children and young teens, we welcome portraits that reveal something genuine about the young person in front of the camera. Your image might capture a joyful smile, a serious expression, a quiet moment, a playful personality, or a carefully styled creative concept.
Studio portraits, environmental portraits, lifestyle-inspired images, fine art photography, fashion, and editorial-style portraits are all welcome. Photographs may be carefully posed or naturally directed, but the child must remain the main subject and focus of the image.
Both color and black & white photography are accepted.

• Creative posing and composition
• Beautiful or imaginative use of light
• Studio, outdoor, lifestyle, fine art, or editorial approaches
• Original styling and creative concepts
• Strong technical and artistic quality

Each entry requires 8 credits.
If you have a BASIC, PLUS, or PRO account, you can participate with
4, 6, or 8 entries, depending on your membership plan.
Each EXTRA entry requires 12 credits.
PRIZE FUND: $500
1st Place — $300 Cash Prize
Awarded to the overall winner of the contest.
2nd Place — $150 Cash Prize
Awarded to the second-place winner.
3rd Place — $50 Cash Prize
Awarded to the third-place winner.
All winning places will also receive downloadable PDF Certificates.
Winners may be featured across the TopPhotoAwards platform, blog, and social media channels.
1st Place Winner Interview – The winner may be invited for an interview on the TopPhotoAwards platform, providing additional publicity and recognition within the photography community.
