In The Bird Kingdom: Photo Contest, we invite photographers to celebrate the fascinating world of birds through captivating images that showcase their character, habitat, and natural beauty.
We welcome all styles of bird photography — striking portraits, birds in flight, nesting behavior, feeding moments, dramatic interactions, artistic compositions, and intimate close-up details. Whether your subject is common or rare, wild or living in an urban environment, show us what makes the avian world extraordinary.
Color or black & white images are welcome, as long as birds remain the primary subject of the photograph.

Bird portraits — expressive images highlighting the beauty, character, and unique features of birds
Behavior in nature — feeding, hunting, nesting, flying, courtship, parenting, or interaction with other wildlife
Birds in flight — dynamic action, graceful movement, and technical excellence
Natural habitat — photographs that show the relationship between birds and their environment
Creative composition — thoughtful framing, light, color, background, and storytelling
Respect for wildlife — images captured ethically without disturbing or harming birds or their habitats
