In Street Life in Lights & Colors: Photo Contest 2026, we invite photographers to capture the vivid energy of urban life through bold tones, glowing signs, reflections, shadows, and unforgettable street moments.
From neon nights and rainy reflections to crowded crossings, market scenes, passing strangers, and quiet corners lit by a single lamp, this contest is about the atmosphere and emotion of the city. Show us how light and color transform ordinary street life into something cinematic, expressive, and alive.
Documentary, artistic, candid, portrait, abstract, or experimental approaches are all welcome — as long as the spirit of the street remains at the center of the image.
Color images are especially encouraged, but black & white photographs with strong light-driven storytelling are also welcome.
What We’re Looking For
Street atmosphere — real urban moments filled with energy, mood, and presence
Light & color — creative use of neon, reflections, shadows, signs, headlights, or natural city light
Human connection — people, gestures, interaction, or emotion within the street environment
Strong composition — timing, framing, layering, and visual storytelling
Urban storytelling — images that reveal the character and rhythm of life in the city
Any street style welcome — candid, documentary, fine art, abstract, or experimental street photography
